FAQs

What genres do you work with?
While I am willing to work in almost any fiction genre, my personal favorites are science fiction, fantasy, urban fantasy, paranormal cozy mysteries, horror, post-apocalyptic, science fiction romance, and paranormal romance.

How long will the editing take?
We will discuss an estimated turnaround time for your project to ensure we meet your publication goals. Turnaround will depend on the complexity of the manuscript, the type of edit being done, and my schedule.

I’m ready to get started. What do I do next?
The first step is a 2,000-word sample edit. This is 100% free and lets you see if you like my editing style. It also provides an opportunity to determine the type of editing you need. The free sample is done at the copyediting level.

Feel free to send your sample edit to marty (at) pickycatediting (dot) com or use the contact form if you have any questions.
